At Guilden Sutton Day Nursery we encourage children to develop at their own pace. We believe that play is the young child's way of learning and therefore an excellent way to gain access to the early year's curriculum. Play should be fun and exciting as this produces child initiated learning through personal motivation and interest.

The Nursery offers a wide variety of experiences so that child can develop emotionally, socially, intellectually and physically. We will combine play with education to develop pre-reading, language and literacy, numeracy work and many other skills essential in fulfilling the desirable learning outcomes essential for preschool learning.

This is done by providing an exciting, stimulated and structured environment, from their first explorations in the baby unit through to pre-school where they will build on their foundations for school under the guidance of experienced primary school teacher.

First and foremost we want your children to be happy in our Nursery and hope that during their time with us their development will make the transition to school an enjoyable one.
