Our educational policy

At Guilden Sutton Day Nursery Chester we encourage children to develop at their own pace. We believe that play is a young child's way of learning and therefore an excellent way to gain access to the early year's childcare curriculum. Play should be fun and exciting as this produces child initiated learning through personal motivation and interest.

Our full day care nursery offers a wide variety of experiences so that your child can develop emotionally, socially, intellectually and physically. We combine play with education to develop pre-reading, language and literacy, numeracy work and many other skills essential in fulfilling the desirable learning outcomes essential for preschool learning.

Through flexible childcare, Guilden Sutton Day Nursery provides an exciting, stimulated and structured environment for the children. From their first explorations in the baby unit through to pre-school where they will build on their foundations for school under the guidance of our experienced staff.
